School of Spiritual Science

The School of Spiritual Science strives to foster the  connection of the spiritual in the human being with the spiritual in the universe. It was founded by Rudolf Steiner in December 1923 at the same time as the General Anthroposophical Society. He envisaged both the Society  and the School of Spiritual Science as combining the greatest openness with the deepest esotericism

THE GOETHEANUM

The Goetheanum is the headquarters for the School of Spiritual Science and the General Anthroposophical Society. The School of Spiritual Science with its eleven sections is active worldwide in research, development, teaching, and the practical implementation of its research findings and is supported by the Anthroposophical Society.

The Anthroposophical Society is an entirely public society. Without regard to ethnic or national origin, social standing, religion, scientific or artistic conviction, any person can become a member who sees as justified the existence of an institution such as the Goetheanum in Dornach in its capacity as a School of Spiritual Science.
